INART Action Batman: Arkham Origins - Batman Figure Review and Images

This week, we're having a look at the Batman: Arkham Origins - Batman figure from INART Action! Finally, one of the best Batman suits from the Batman: Arkham video game series is getting some love! Batman: Arkham Origins is the most underrated game of the series, and often not included with the "trilogy" of Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight due to being made by another studio (WB Montreal instead of Rocksteady, if i remember correctly), while still being a fantastic game! I really loved the suit from that game, looking a bit more grounded, bulky and rudimentary than in the other games. This figure really does it justice! (Ha! Pun intended?)






This Arkham Origins Batman figure comes with 2 heads, 5 pairs of hands, an explosive gel gun, a batarang, a cryptographic sequencer, a disruptor, a grappling gun, a batclaw with 3 cables and a stand. The soft goods cape is wired, and made from an amazing material, which allows it to flow nicely and get into nice cape poses. The accessories are all from the game, which you can use to solve riddles, investigate clues or beat bosses.










In the game, Black Mask is offering a reward of $50,000,000 to 8 assassins to whoever kills the dark knight, during the christmas season (there is a mashup of Carol of the Bells with the Batman: Arkham theme in the soundtrack that was glorious).














This is my first INART Action figure, and it is pretty incredible. The level of details is crazy, and this figure has fantastic articulations. I remember seeing all the promo pics and thinking that those were just renders from the game, that it looked too good. Well, now that I have it in hand, I can say it looks does look exactly like that. If I had a nitpick, I'd say maybe the grey parts of the suit are a bit too dark, I would have had them lighter, but it's still great to get what is basically the ultimate representation of that character in 1/12 scale (-ish... the figure is a bit taller than 1/12, and INART ended up changing the name of their INART 1/12 line to INART Action, instead of fixing the scales...lol). Funnily enough, Hot Toys also announced a Batman from Arkham Origins a few weeks after INART had announced that one... maybe both companies were excited that it's the 13th anniversary of the game?
