Tim Drake is the third youngster to serve as Robin, partner to Batman. Through rigourous and constant training, Robin keeps his physical edge, which, along with his knowledge of computers, makes him a formidable foe of Gotham City’s villainous population Tim balances his activities as Robin with his school an friends…but he is always ready to answer the call to action.
Appearance
Tim has a body that is almost a shrunken down version of the full sized generic DCUC body except with smaller shoulders and less defined torso muscles. Like Nightwing, Robin is a little too buff for his age, but its not as significant as with Nightwing. Visually the character is interpreted beautifully from the comics. There are a lot of different color contrasts on the costume which give it a lot of texture and make it more interesting than a paint scheme like Nightwing’s. The paint lines are generally crisp and well defined, which make the color scheme work well on this figure. The skin tone is nice as well, but different from Green Lantern and Nightwing’s. This color contrast stands out a little bit, but not enough to be bothersome.
The sculpt is smooth and without awkward cuts or obvious joints. The red color on the body is perfect for its deep but not shiny coating. What stands out visually of this figure are the yellows, which brighten the figure and add texture. There’s a good amount of texture to the figure. The face sculpt is a little generic, but the overall head sculpt is superbly executed as usual. The only thing that would make this better is some black detailing on the pouches, but overall this is an excellent looking figure.
Articulation
Robin has standard DCUC joints and range of motion (mostly). As would be expected, the cape causes problems. The head can’t move up and down at all because of the neck of the cape. The cape also prevents the arms and legs from moving back, and can cause balance issue. The arms can sit by his side though.
Poseability
Robin can do some really nice poses with his weapons, but he’s lacking a little when posed with no weapons. The pole he looks really good with, having the right articulation to hold it and use it realistically. He looks good by himself or with other figures. Posing with Nightwing by his side is especially good for both figures.

Visually Robin is above average for this line, while the range of motion brings his score back down He’s a standard figure for this line overall, but still an excellent action figure in general.
