MAFEX DC Comics Black Manta Figure Video Review And Images

Always found this classic villain in the DC universe as enigmatic and somewhat monstrous... though later I discovered he is actually a person in an armored suit--highly weaponized armored suit. The discovery just made him more monstrous to my eyes yet the persona earned my respect. Manta went to great lengths to avenge his father though Aquaman was not totally at fault. He and his father weremurderous at the onset, and Manta just got worse after his father's death--making the suit a perfect reflection of the monstrosity of the person inside. MAFEX gave life to Manta in this action figure. Almost perfect! Best jetpack I've seen. Those tubes at the back were created with much thought; it has theaesthetic looks without hindering the figure's articulation. The issue with the joints are somewhat minor but at this price range MAFEX could have done better. But overall this is one of the best Manta I've seen made into a collectible.
