From Sideshow Toy:

Attention Sideshow Fans, Collectors, and Horror Enthusiasts. We regret to inform you that a high level spokesman for the "Corporation" has recently informed us that there is to be an impending cancellation of The Dead 12-inch figure collectible line due to unforeseen events beyond our control. Please understand, this is as big of a shock to us as it is to our collectors. A developing situation keeps us from disclosing any further details regarding this matter, however we will be sure to update you as soon as information becomes available. We here at Sideshow Collectibles believe that this line is important to not only the collector, but to our long term goals as as company, despite what the corporate bureaucracy has to say about it. We ask you as collectors and fans to stand by us as we work diligently to resolve this issue and bring you further installments in the "Be Ready" campaign. Feel confident that we will attack this incident with the urgency and means that it deserves, and we will work to rectify this unfortunate situation. Thank you for your patience. All the current information concerning this matter is available in the following news clip from a press conference held earlier today on KMTA News.
