In the late 19th Century, Bram Stoker's famous monster hunter Dr. Abraham Van Helsing is sent to a distant and dangerous European land to battle the forces of evil such as Count Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolf Man. By his side is the beautiful Anna, an heir to a long running family committed to the pursuit and destruction of Dracula for over 400 years.
Sideshow Collectibles is producing a 12 inch version of Van Helsing for availability in May/June 2004. It features the likeness of Hugh Jackman and will include Van Helsing's collapsible automatic cross-bow, two ornate revolvers, a chain of spiritual protective trinkets, and a movie accurate costume with fedora. Buffy The Vampire: Faith
Into each generation, a slayer is born. One young woman to stand alone against the darkness... until an unexpected twist of fate caused a second slayer to be called. During the prophesied battle with The Master, Buffy died and was later resuscitated. The unprecedented event resulted in Kendra the Vampire Slayer, who was slain by Spike's girlfriend, Drusilla. Her death signaled the calling of a new slayer, Faith, and it didn't take long for the street-wise Faith to find her way to Sunnydale. Different from Buffy in every way, brunette to Buffy's blonde, Faith is a troubled soul that has fought as often as Buffy's enemy as her ally. The fatherly but demonically-inclined Mayor found Faith to be an apt pupil and an able henchman, and pitted the two slayers against one another in a near fatal duel.
Faith survived her encounter with Buffy, endured a long coma, and found her way to redemption under the guidance of Buffy's ex-boyfriend, Angel. Buffy and Faith reunited and led The Potentials, a group of slayers in training, to battle ancient vampires and the First. With help from Willow and Faith, Buffy was able to destroy the Hellmouth (and most of Sunnydale), and once again saved the world.
