TOYNAMI INTRODUCES “CINEMAQUETTES” COLLECTIBLE BRAND

February 11, 2004

Toynami is excited to announce the introduction of its new “Cinemaquettes” brand, a line of exquisitely detailed high-end collectible maquettes based on some of the most popular science-fiction, fantasy and action films. Each one-third-scale, approximately 24-inch-tall maquette will feature authentic detailing and cloth costuming (where appropriate), providing a startlingly lifelike recreation suitable for display in your home or office. The Cinemaquettes will be manufactured in limited edition, with no more than 1,000 of any model seeing production.

The first film to get the Cinemaquettes treatment will be 2003’s summer blockbuster Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines! Scheduled for production are:

• The TX
• The T-850, featuring a likeness of the film’s star, Arnold Schwarzenegger
• The T-800 Endoskeleton

Other film licenses are on the way, and will be announced shortly. Prototypes for the Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Cinemaquettes are scheduled to be on display at Toynami’s showroom at the American International Toy Fair in New York this week.
