Astro Boy Rockets To Retail In June!

Created over 50 years ago as a comic book character by the legendary Osamu Tezuka, Astro Boy was the first Japanese anime show imported to the U.S. in 1963. Coming this June, Bandai America is set to re-launch the classic property to a new generation of fans! The beloved character Astro rockets to retail with a dynamic lineup of action figures, playsets and other toys, including:

11" ASTRO INTERACTIVE FIGURE - This fully articulated electronic figure comes with 5 collectible cards that activate various sounds via a card reader in the arm. Other features include light up eyes, jet-powered feet and hidden compartments that reveal Astro's interior circuitry. (Suggested Retail Price $24.99)

8" BUILD YOUR OWN ASTRO FIGURE - With removable pieces that reveal Astro's inner mechanisms, this "skeleton" figure can be assembled and disassembled. The skeleton also features light up eyes. (Suggested Retail Price $12.99)

5" SUPER ABILITIES ASTRO BOY FIGURES - Capturing Astro's various super abilities, this assortment of articulated figures comes with unique action features such as Searchlight Astro, Rocket Boot Astro, Arm-Cannon Astro and Atlas. A bonus collectible card is also included that is compatible with the 11" Astro figure.

ASTRO BOY PLAYSETS - Re-creating various environments from the animated series such as the Astro Boy Lab, these playsets come with an exclusive 2.5" Astro figure.
