Series 5 Gears Of War 7" Action Figures: UPDATE

The latest installment based on the multi-million-selling Epic game Gears of War 2 is tougher, meaner and packing more firepower than ever before. Just check it out:

Fighting for the Coalition of Ordered Governments (COG) is Delta Squad Colonel Victor Hoffman. Back in the original Gears, he reinstated Marcus Fenix into the military, and in Gears 2, he's got an even more integral role to play in the battle against the Locust Horde. Joining Hoffman is an all new version of the COG Soldier with a different helmet and new articulation. Both figures come with unique weaponry.

From the Locust Horde there's the Beast Rider Grenadier. A new character to Gears 2, the Beast Rider attacks players from on top of his Bloodmount and is notoriously hard to kill. Speaking of, the reckless Boomer is ready to run head-first into certain doom if it means he can take you out with him. Bigger and more dangerous than the usual Locust fighters, Boomer might just be a gamer's worst nightmare. Like Hoffman and the COG Soldier, both Beast Rider and Boomer come with individualized weapons and are completely new to this line.

Gears of War 2 Series 5 hits shelves in October.

Yeah, it's a Microsoft franchise, like Halo.

I have every version of MvC2 except the ps2 version ha. But anyways on to the main topic. I m excited for this wave, but it would've really been cool if they would've done like a special pack like they did the 2 packs for the beastrider and a blood mount. It wouldn't have made much sense to pack a bloodmount separately and together so why not do a 2 pack? Don't release a beast rider sans beast, that's just dumb. But I cant wait buy multiple boomers. Oh man thats going to be so sweet. I dont remember that style of cog soldier either but im also interested in that.. Col Hoffman, not so much.

i buyed me some yesterday. it was a box with the 4 main dudes in it. i love them, i never played the game. hope it comes on the playstation system one day. anyway, does someone else have trouble with the guns? i had a hard time to get them in their hands. i dont know if i will buy more. i ordered the comic now and then i will see if i still gonna buy more.
I can tell you this it wont ever be on the playstation system.Its like making Halo for playstation.I really dont play awhole lot of video games.I really enjoy my playstation 2 and only play like 12 games that I really like.One of them being Marvel vs Capcom 2,Now everyone should be jelous that i have that game its super rare.I had to pay 70 dollers for it.However it is worth the money.

actually you can download m vs c 2 on the 360 & ps3 so the game is not rare. def. one of the best fighters ever made.

boomer and new cog soldier work for me. even the beast rider looks good, wish they would have made the bloodmount.

yeah, it's not like he's Superman or Spiderman he doesn't need to headline the figures, hell if the multiplayer choices are any indication he's hardly the favorite gear of the player base, so i think we've got enough of him for now.
