Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers Goes Old School

July 15, 2011
McFarlane Toys and CLARKtoys.com are teaming up for another NFL Exclusive – featuring Packers quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay’s retro uniform. It’s the first time this retro uniform has been made available on a Sports Picks figure.

When the ACME Packing Company purchased the Indian Packing Company in 1920, they continued to sponsor Green Bay’s football team (ever wonder why they are called the “Packers”). Team founder Curly Lambeau was a Notre Dame alumnus, and incorporated the navy blue and gold colors from his alma mater onto the Packers’ uniforms. The 2010 Packers wore this throwback jersey, most notable in a Week 13 beatdown of the San Francisco 49ers. Rodgers completed 21 of 30 passes for 298 yards and three TDs in Green Bay’s 34-16 victory.

The exclusive retro Aaron Rodgers figure is available only at CLARKtoys.com for $17.99 and is expected to be available in late September – you can pre-order your figure(s) now - CLICK HERE!
