Palisades Toys announces Pink Panther™ Action Figures!
Elkridge, MD (December 1, 2003)—Palisades Toys is proud to officially announce the unveiling of its newest action figure licensing program: The Pink Panther™
“Once again, Palisades is fortunate to have landed an iconic property to make merchandise from,” Palisades President and CEO Michael Horn said. “The recognition of Pink Panther and all of its characters is fantastic. And what MGM has been doing to keep the characters active is bonus. These figures should land on everyone’s pop culture hot list next year!”
Bold and innovative, this hip cat first appeared in the opening credits of the 1964 Blake Edwards film, The Pink Panther. The opening cartoon captivated audiences and soon the character was featured in 1968 on NBC, which ran over 140 animated shorts. A second television show debuted in 1984, which featured many new characters and ran for over a decade. In celebration of the character’s 40th Anniversary, Palisades presents an all-new series of articulated action figures!

Pink Panther
The hippest cat of all time! Pink Panther features multiple articulation points including a ball-jointed neck and a bendable tail! Includes removable bow tie, removable pith helmet and top hat, camera, cane and logo base!
Aardvark
Star of the shorts that were often included in the Pink Panther series, the Aardvark had but one mission...to get Charlie, the ant! Aardvark features multiple articulation points including ball-jointed shoulders. Includes semi-articulated Charlie accessory and logo base!
The Man
One of the main adversaries of the Pink Panther, The Man often found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, at odds with the hip hero! Features multiple articulation points including ball-jointed shoulders and swivel wrists. Includes paint bucket, paintbrush, painter’s hat, construction hat and logo base!
Inspector Clouseau
The bumbling French policeman who always manages to be foiled by the Pink Panther! Features multiple articulation points including ball-jointed shoulders and neck. Includes magnifying glass, newspaper, top-secret file folder, attaché case, bomb and logo base!
Each even packed case of 12 figures features a couple of surprise chase figures in the assortment!
Suggested Retail Price is around $9.95 each. The first shipments will be available in early 2004. Pink Panther Action Figures are produced under license from MGM.
