Diamond Select Toys & Collectibles, LLC (DST) is excited to announce the latest celebrity guest to appear during this summer’s San Diego Comic Con – Aaron Douglas! Widely known as the enigmatic Chief Tyrol on the hit SciFi Channel series Battlestar Galactica, the space-traveling mechanic will be signing autographs at the DST booth (#2607) throughout the weekend! Additionally, the just-announced exclusive T-1 Chief Tyrol figure will be available at the show in very limited quantities with a $16 retail cost.

Beginning July 25th and continuing through July 29th the 2007 San Diego Comic Con is held in San Diego, California and last year drew more than 125,000 attendees. Aaron Douglas will be appearing at the DST booth on Friday the 27th from 10-12:30 and 2-4, on Saturday the 28th from 3-6 and on Sunday the 29th from 10-12; signing autographs for a $20 fee. Other purchase options include a package containing an autograph and either a pre-order of the upcoming Chief Tyrol action figure or the limited T-1 unpainted Chief Tyrol figure for a $25 charge.

Best known for his portrayal of Chief Galen Tyrol in the acclaimed Battlestar Galactica series, Aaron Douglas has appeared in dozens of feature films and television series. Also located at the DST booth, the first and second series of action figures based on the Emmy-nominated Battlestar Galactica will be displayed throughout the convention – including the DST-exclusive Chief Tyrol action figure now available for pre-order!
