Avatar: The Last Airbender is Nickelodeon's first original boys/ action property and in its first season, it was the #1 boys' action show among boy viewers ages two through 11. The show features the adventures of Aang, a reluctant 12-year old hero. While it is Aang's destiny to become the all-powerful Avatar - the one person who can master the four elements - water, earth, fire and air - and stop the Fire Nation from conquering the world, Aang would rather search for adventure and excitement than focus on his Avatar training. Can Aang face his responsibilities as the Avatar and save the world before the ruthless Fire Nation takes over? The world of the Avatar comes to life with the new line of action figures and vehicles.

BASIC FIGURES: These 5.25"-6" figures bring the key characters from the show to life and allow boys to enter the fantasy world of the Avatar. The figures are fully articulated and come with four of their signature weapons or accessories. The assortment includes Airbending Aang, Prince Zuko, Avatar Spirit Aang, Water Tribe Sokka, Fire Nation Soldier and joining the assortment in October are Avatar Roku and Water Nation Aang, as well as Blue Spirit Zuko and Water Vortex Aang in December.

ARP: $6.99

BATTLE BENDERS: Now boys can recreate Avatar's head-to-head bending combat with Air Cannon Aang and Flame Blast Zuko. These deluxe figures are fully articulated and come with light-up projectile packs. When boys press the buttons on Aang's dual air cannon or Prince Zuko's dual flame blaster, the air/fire blasts launch and LEDs will flash creating an awesome light pulse effect. Includes two projectiles and target accessories (air-ball goals for Aang and blast barrels for Zuko). Requires 3 button cell batteries, included.

ARP: $9.99

10" FIGURE ASSORTMENT: Avatar's primary characters, Aang and Prince Zuko, come to life with lights, sound effects and phrases. Ultimate Avatar Aang has everything a boy needs to transform Aang into the Avatar state - his battle staff and glider. Boys can mimic all of Aang's flying and combat action with more than ten sound effects and phrases. To see Aang in the Avatar state, just press a button and his eyes and tattoo glow just like on the show. Flame Assault Zuko comes with a set of flame weapons to help him battle Aang, including a fire whip and “flaming sword. Each time kids place a weapon into Zuko's hand, he knows he is holding a weapon and the weapon lights up with “flame. Just like Aang, Zuko says more than ten menacing phrases. Requires 3 button cell batteries, included.

ARP: $14.99

VEHICLE ASSORTMENT: With the Air Attack Battle Glider and the Fire Nation's "living tank," the Fire Attack Rhino, boys can take their Avatar fantasy play to the next level. The Air Attack Battle Glider features dual spring-loaded air blasters and a rear-mounted grappling projectile. When boys remove the glider's wings, it converts to a ground vehicle and up to two Avatar figures can sit in the Glider. The Fire Attack Rhino features dual spring-loaded fireball catapults for attacking aerial enemies and head-ramming action for close quarters combat. The vehicles will work with any of the basic or deluxe (Battle Bender) figures.

ARP: $14.99

AIR LAUNCHING AANG WITH APPA: Boys can act out their favorite battle scenes from Avatar with this action figure and vehicle set. Air Launching Aang with Appa features the Avatar's favorite animal companion, the giant two-ton flying bison, Appa, combined with one of Aang's signature air-bending moves. Put Aang into Appa's saddle, rev him up and then launch him up to six feet in the air, watching him helicopter down on his opponents. A gravity switch activates sound effects from Appa when he is lifted or tilted during play and you can hear phrases from Aang and sound effects from Appa when the speech button is pressed. Requires 4 AA batteries, not included.

ARP: $29.99

AANG'S BATTLE STAFF: Now boys can act out their own Aang adventures at home with Aang's Battle Staff, featuring two modes of play. With the touch of a button boys can transform Aang's Staff into Aang's Glider, complete with battle sounds in Staff mode and flying sounds in Glider mode. Requires 3 AA batteries, included.
