February 14, 2010
We were given a tour of the future products of Bandai today, and there were two big lines scheduled to hit the shelves from the toymaker. The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers makes a big return, and the continuation of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien will also be a major drive.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

With the re-imagining of the show returning to ABC Family, the original toyline, reimagined, will also make a big return.

Main Toyline ($5.99)
Will feature many of the Power Rangers from the original series, from different seasons. On display were the original blue, pink, yellow, red, and white, among others.

Action Rangers ($8.99)
These rangers have these big packs on that have the capability of launching projectiles. Insert the rip sword into the figure, pull and shoot out projectiles from the front-facing cannons. Power coins, available with figures in the main line, can be inserted into these two cannons and launched as well.

Morphin Rangers ($12.99)
Two figures, a red and green ranger were on display that transformed from cell phone to rangers.

Zord Vehicle with Figure ($9.99)
These figures will range from various Power Rangers series and each Zord vehicle will be able to combine with the Morphin Racer. These figures included motorcycles and actual vehicles. All of the vehicles are also rip sword compatible, which will propel the vehicle forward.

Mini Mix & Morph Base ($14.99)
These provide children a way to mix-and-match their favorite Power Rangers. The Mini Mix figures can be unlocked with a key (the keyhole is located in the back of the figure) and the legs, head, and both arms may be separated from one another.

The Morph Base will provide the ability to attach the desired limbs together, which will then be locked again with the key and played with. Two morph bases were showcased, one was the Power Ranger morpher and the other was the icon Mighty Morphin Red Ranger helmet.

Figures will be sold as two-packs for $6.99.

These Mini Mix figures will also be compatible in the Mix & Morph Base ($32.99). The inside of the Titanus zord will work just like the other morph bass, but will combine the figure when the zord is rolled forward. The figure is compatible with the Deluxe Megazord.

Basic Roleplay ($9.99)
Deluxe Dragon Dagger looks like the original Green Ranger dagger, but will also have a sword that extends from the back. The sword collapses into the handle of the dagger.

The original series Blade Blaster will also be available and features three modes: dagger, sword, and blaster.

Deluxe Megazord ($24.99)
Looks just like the original! Bandai told us that it's more or less the smaller of the two versions that were released under the original toy line 17 years ago.

Ben 10: Ultimate Alien

Features a lot of the third series from the Ben 10 franchise, showing off new aliens, and new playability.

Alien Collection ($6.99)
Features aliens showcased on the series. Each figure will come with an alien ring, which is compatible with the Disc Alien Ultimatrix ($19.99). When the ring is inserted, the Ultimatrix will light up and play sounds of the particular alien.

Deluxe Alien Collection ($8.99)
These figures provide playability beyond just the figure itself. Each will feature a move or a specialty that are known to do on the show providing more playability.

AlterAlien Figures ($8.99)
Starting out at Ben 10 with a very square face, people can transform Ben 10 into an alien by swapping the plastic pieces of his head, revealing a completely different character once finished.

DNA Alien Heroes ($10.99)
Aliens feature sounds when button is pushed.

Figure Collection ($14.99)
A great way to reintroduce aliens from the previous series until now.

Comics and Figures ($14.99)
A two-pack of figures along with an issue of the Ben 10 comic from DC Comics.

Vuescope Ultimatrix ($14.99)
Each Vuescope comes with two Vuescopes. When pressed down, the clear cylinder will reveal a character and play sounds. There are a total of 6 vuescopes planned at this time.

Legacy Omnitrix ($34.99)
For the ultimate Ben 10 fan.

Provides the ability to change faceplates and colors.

Deluxe Vehicle ($29.99)
A vehicle from the series that provides multiple modes for the vehicle including sky mode, hovering mode, submarine mode, and of course, the regular car mode.

Alien Mecha Vehicle ($14.99)
A new concept vehicle that is able to break apart and combine again.

Alien Creative Chamber Figure Set ($6.99)
Similar to the Mix & Match showcased in the Mighty Morphin' piece, this allows the player to create the ultimate alien.

Just like the Power Rangers version, these will also be available in two-packs.

Alien Creation Battle Launchers ($12.99)
Features an alien and a vehicle with launching action.

Alien Creation Transporter ($14.99)
Works like the Morph Base in the Power Rangers version.

Alien Creation Challenge
Players dumb the pieces of aliens into a base and they have to assemble all of the pieces before time runs out. When the time has run out, the pieces will pop out of the top of the set.

Alien Creation Chamber Laboratory
Children can add in pieces of the Creative Chamber and the lab will randomly create an Alien.

Bandai Hobby

Bandai is planning on expanding to other types of entertainment beyond just action figures, and they are going to begin expanding into the radio control segment.

Crawler ($169.99)
An entry level vehicle into the R/C enthusiast market. Each wheel has its own suspension.

Cyclaws ($79.99)
This RC car can drive just a regular RC car, but on-demand, the tires can separate away from the wheel and create an entirely new driving dynamic. The vehicle is also capable of driving upside down, and an individual will be able to see the driver of the vehicle on the underside.

Knight Flight Batman
The figure was just approved by the licensor and was not on display. However, we were shown a concept drawing of the toy and a mock-up box. The remote-controlled toy will feature Batman from The Brave and the Bold line and features twin propellers and flies forward, sideways, up, and down.

Power Ranger Air Attack Megazord
Just like the Knight Flight Batman, the Mighty Morphin Megazord has the same flight features. The figures also allow for take-off and landings.
