2010 SDCC Friday Toy Panels Revealed - Star Wars, Mattel's DC & More

The panels for the second full day of the San Diego Comic-Con (7/23) has been posted on the official comic-con website. For action figure enthusiasts here is what is in store for you.

11:00-12:00 Star Wars Day: Hasbro Panel— Hear from the Hasbro Design and Marketing teams about what's in store for the remainder of 2010. They will also offer a special sneak peek into some 2011 secrets. Featuring Derryl DePriest and Chad Donvito of Hasbro Marketing, and Brian Parrish, Mark Boudreaux, Brian Merten, Andrew Franks, and Vickie Stratford of Hasbro Design. Room 7AB


11:00-12:00 Mattel and DC Comics: A Heroic Partnership— Find out the latest news, sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes scoop on your favorite Mattel/DC action figures, including DC Universe Classics, Justice League Unlimited, Retro Action, Infinite Heroes, and more! Plus, be here for an exciting look at all-new 2011 product! Mattel toy designer Bill Benecke, Mattel brand manager Scott "Toy Guru" Neitlich, The Four Horsemen, and special guests from DC Comics and Warner Brothers are on hand for an insightful Q&A that's not to be missed! 6:30-7:30 Action Figures: Behind the Plastic— This is your chance to get the inside scoop on action figure lines you love, straight from the people who make them! AFi has assembled a legendary panel of experts from every corner of the toy world. They'll talk about the difference between being the licensor vs. the licensee, the back story of a toy line, keeping up with the editorial side of a property, taking a chance on new products, and more. Come armed with the burning questions you have always wanted to ask the experts! Moderated by Daniel "Julius Marx" Pickett, Panelists include Aaron Archer (Hasbro), Georg Brewer (DC Direct), Jesse Falcon (Marvel Entertainment LLC), Randy Falk (NECA), Jason Lenzi (Bif Bang Pow!
