Steven Spielberg Takes On DC's Blackhawk

Steven Spielberg and his production company Amblin Entertainment will produce a movie for Warner Bros. based on the DC Comics character Blackhawk, which is a World War II action-adventure hero.

Spielberg who will likely direct the film after completing Indiana Jones 5 will also produce it along with Kristie Macosko Krieger from Amblin. The executive producer will be Sue Kroll who will be operating under her Kroll & Co. Entertainment company. David Koepp (Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) will be writing the script.

Blackhawk was originally created by Will Eisner, Bob Powell and Chuck Cuidera.
