Two beautiful PVC statues based on characters from one of the hottest video games to hit the Xbox this year - Ninja Gaiden - will be making their way to retailers' shelves soon, and are available exclusively in North America through Diamond Comic Distributors!
First released in Japan in 1988 as Ninja Ryukenden, the popular beat-em-up arcade game would soon become of the most popular franchises in video game history, taking on the name Ninja Gaiden in the United States. Its clever use of cinemas for telling the game's story and innovative additions to game play over the years have kept it consistently on gamers' lists of favorite titles. With the newest Xbox incarnation of the game, that popularity has only risen! Now, one of Japan's top companies, Kotobukiya, is releasing two beautiful PVC statues based on the hot-selling game's main characters, Ryu Hayabusa and Ayane.
The two characters are captured in dynamic poses with detailed clothing that faithfully recreates the game's world. These pre-painted statues - which stand 10”-13 ½” tall in 1/6 scale - each include a base, and are ready to display right out of the box. The smash hit Xbox game is created by Team NINJA, the skilled creators of the famous Dead or Alive series of games!
