BMF Millennium Falcon: Could This Be The Coolest Star Wars Toy Ever Made?

Could the golden age of big vehicles and playsets soon be returning?

If the BMF sold well, could it mean a Death Star Playset soon will follow?

If large Star Wars vehicles and playsets sell well, does that mean other toylines will follow suit?

Honestly, we have no idea. In fact, we can't even confirm that this one will see the light of day, but it's looking more and more promising. Okay, I know we are getting ahead of ourselves. You may be asking - what exactly are we talking about? What is the BMF?

Well as Mace Windu might say its one Big M@#$ F#@# of a toy. It's The Big Millennium Falcon. Not just that old sad (great for its time) 1970's mold Millennium Falcon, but a brand-new totally re-done movie accurate Millenium Falcon. This thing which is over 2 1/2 Feet long has it all:

1. Light-up headlights and loads of electronic vehicle and weapon sounds - engine boost, cruise mode, fly-by, firing cannons.

2. Opening, light-up cockpit can fit up to 4 figures. Includes Han Solo and Chewbacca and the entire ship can hold up to 18 figures.

3. Remove outer panels to access the ship's interior, then head to the medical bay and treat wounded Rebels.

4. Secret smuggling compartments to hide from stormtroopers.

5. Boarding ramp with auto-opening action, deployment sounds and landing lights

6. Pivoting gunner station to target Imperial fighters!

7. Light-Up hyperdrive lights and authentic movie phrases and sounds from favorite characters: Han, Luke, Obi-Wan, C-3PO, Chebacca, and R2-D2.

8. Rotating laser turret fires 2 missles and makes weapon sounds. Ship also features a 3-missle launcher and blasting sounds, and a cannon that launches a "laser" missle.

9. Missle-Firing mini-fighter fits inside an opening docking bay that makes electronic boarding and flight sounds

10. Pivoting training probe makes lightsaber and movement sounds - learn the power of the Force!

11. Illuminated dejarik table with holo monsters - let the Wookie win!

Well, I've talk about this thing enough. Now head over to to check out a really big hi-res image of this BMF, and then head back here and let us know what you think about it on our FORUMS.

Okay... just about all of the stores around here have them well in stock. I just need to sell off enough stuff so I can afford it before the Christmas season hits. Maybe I should get a part-time job at Target or something.

The local Walmart here has them on an endcap

pogoman - 2008-08-17 @ 2:34 pm

walmart has now moved the falcons on the top shelves.

The only home location of these at Target is on that Clone Wars endcap

TRU didn't have any falcons in stock, I checked two on Sunday. I assume they had some and sold out but I haven't checked in a while so I don't know for sure. Wal-Mart has had around 8 of em out in the middle of the main aisle for over a week. Targets seems to only put one out at a time. I checked 3 stores and it was the same at all 3. Just one out. The AT-TE is at all the stores and Target has em on sale of $90 as opposed to $100.

The Wal Mart that I bought mine at has six in stock. I bought two the day they were released and haven't seen another sold until today. I suspect around Christmas these and the AT-TE's will disappear from the shelves.

I remember when the Saga Endor AT-AT came out, they sat on the shelves until the holiday season too.

BMF are not moving in my area (Northern Colorado) The price is just out there. However I can see these moving fast around Xmas time.

No one is even looking at the AT TEs

These things are barely moving at all in my area. My closest TRU got about 8 of them, and has only sold 2 since last week. Target's had the same one sitting on a bottom shelf for the same amount of time.

AT-TEs don't seem to be moving much, either.

Hope they pick up big-time around Christmas. I'd hate to see future chances for large vehicles axed because these two didn't sell.

I know it's a long way off but I'm waiting until Black Friday. I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe that Wal-Mart will have these packed with some other Star Wars figures. You know how they done that in the past with other toylines and that's the only way you were able to get them was then.

When I do get the money to get it I'm picking it up at Target so I can use my 10% discount
