New Jedi Padawan Figures

by Jay Cochran
January 15, 2003 has released pictures of new Jedi 2 packs which are due out in the Spring/early Summer of 2003. The first 2 pack features figure '03 #15 Yoda and young Jedi Padawan Chian. In Attack of the Clones, Yoda trains the young Jedi in the ways of the Force. He instructs the Padawans to be calm, passive, at peace; to be aware of the present and mindful of the future; and to use the Force only for defense, never for attack. This two pack comes complete with Yoda, his lightsaber, cane and hover chair, and Chian who comes with a lightsaber and Jedi training helmet.

The second 2 pack consists of two other Padawan Jedi, figure '03 #16 Ashla & Jempa. The Jedi children Ashla and Jempa are members of the Mighty Bear Clan, a communal group of young Jedi hopefuls ranging in age from four to eight. Comprised of many different species, the young Padawans rely on the tutelage of Jedi Master Yoda, who often marvels at the cloudless insight and impressive scope of the young minds. Under Yoda's careful eye, clan members begin lightsaber training at a very early age, but their protective helmets and special training sabers ensure safety in their Jedi lessons. Each Jedi Padawan comes with a lightsaber and a Jedi training helmet.
