McFarlane, the makers of the incredible on going Spawn series and the very poplar Movie Maniacs bring us an incredible series from the hit movie Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines! These seven inch scale figures are in scale with Movie Maniacs! Below is a review that cover all four figures in the series. The T-850, T-850 with Coffin, The T-X Terminatrix, and The T-X Endoskeleton! I hope you enjoy this review!

Accessories: The T-850 Terminator includes a drum gun with break down action, the tiny shells are removable! He also includes a shot gun with a strap, and a detailed base. The figure has two peg holes in his boots and he stands on it tight but he tends to lean a wee bit but it doesn't hurt his appearance! The accessories included with The Terminator with Coffin is a sidearm machine gun with a strap, the huge coffin with several machine guns, missiles, and a detailed stand. As for The Terminatrix, She has an automatic handgun, an alternate hand, interchangeable forearm blow torch weapon, and a detailed stand. She stands on it very well! The T-X Endoskeleton includes two interchangeable arm weapons which is the blow torch and the other is a saw and also includes a detailed base.

Articulation: These figures don't have the articulation that Marvel Legends does but if you are a McFarlane collector then you know what to expect. The Terminator T-850 figures moves at the head, the shoulders, the right elbow has a cut joint, the wrists, at the waist and the T-850 with Coffin also has leg movement. This incredible looking female figure of Terminatrix moves at the neck, shoulders, forearms, waist, and ankles. The T-X Endoskeleton has a ball jointed neck, ball jointed shoulders, elbows, forearm twists which are removable to allow the weapons to connect, and wrists. Also her waist moves, she has ball jointed hips, knees bend backward and forward and she also has Marvel Legends type side to side ankle movement. There isn't a huge amount on the T-850 and Terminatrix figures but there is a decent number on the T-X Endoskeleton!

Durability: Both T-850 figures and The Terminatrix are very sturdy figures! The Endoskeleton is a different story though. The T-X Endoskeleton is made of a different plastic and her wires are small and thin, very similar like the T-800 Endoskeleton previously released.

Packaging: The clam shell packaging McFarlane has been using is great and tough but I am not a huge fan of McFarlane's packaging however because they don't put any information about the character and/or the movie the figures represent. It would have been cool if they would of put movie stills instead of just pictures of the figure itself but for the Terminator 3 line there is only one picture and its the promotional picture of Arnold on the front of the Terminator figures and The T-X on the Terminatrix figure packages. Also there is some twisty ties. Don't get Me wrong, The packaging is pretty with the Terminator 3 art and it is quite a site to look at!

Paint: The Terminator figures are painted so nicely! On The Terminatrix, I love how McFarlane painted her finger nails and her eyes! Man do they look stunning and what a great job McFarlane did on the T-X Endoskeleton! Her paint is really a great silver color and I like how her face is detailed There are no paint blotches on these figures whatsoever! McFarlane has done it again!

Sculpting: This is the category McFarlane is known for! The two versions of the T-850 are in different poses and each one has a variant and the only difference is the head sculpts with sun glasses molded on and others without. The ones I received have the sun glasses. The sculpting is superb on the regular T-850 figure which in My opinion looks exactly like Arnold Schwarzenegger! The face with the sun glasses is perfect and the body is so incredibly life like! There is bullet holes in his jacket and pants and there is some great looking minor damage to the chest area! On to the one with the version with the Coffin. Once again great sculpting on his face and body! This time his face is damaged and his body like the regular one is very life like! His Coffin is greatly sculpted with bullet holes everywhere! It is an incredible looking accessory! The T-850 with Coffin also has a gun sculpted in his pants! As for the Terminatrix, her sculpting is simply marvelous! In My opinion she looks just like Kristanna Loken plus her outfit looks just like the one she wore in the film! She has a great looking necklace that is sculpted around her neck! Her boots look real! Her hands are sculpted in an odd way but I like it! Her weapons are sculpted nicely and looks like a tiny prop that was used in the film! And finally The T-X Endoskeleton! In My opinion this figure of The T-X Endoskeleton is an exact duplicate of the one seen in the blockbuster film! An outstanding feat McFarlane did is that you can tell the Endoskeleton is female! It is wonderfully shaped! What more can I say? These figures are unbelievable!

Overall: They are not terribly expensive and if you have a Movie Maniacs collection and love the Terminator then these figures here will be a perfect addition in your collection! But whether you display these figures with others or alone these figures will bring an incredible amount of energy on your shelf! In My book these are amazing figures and is a must own for the Terminator and McFarlane collector!
