Yeah....the hairs off finally, and it looks like I'll be doing some major sanding and trimming on the Speed Metal head? BTW...did you do anything creative with the Triple-H head after you scalped him?
Not really, just used 'Easy Off' to strip away any kind of manufacturing chemical from the hair, and used Vinyl Flat Paint. If you choose this, remember not to paint the interior of the hair, for you will need it to glue it on later.
[The hard part was preparing the head for the hair to fit. You'll see what I mean when you take out the hair.

I think it looks GREAT! So great in fact, I'm thinking of attempting something very similar. I like the looks of the Serpentor head sculpt for Spirit and the Triple-H hair works perfectly. One question though...how did you remove the hair from the Triple-H figure? Any easy process to this?
It's not so hard. I slowly pulled the hair, and where is was glued, I used a sharp knife to cut, without damaging the hair. It used glue on the inner corners, so it's cutting, and then pulling. I've been watching many of your cool GI Joe customs, and decided to make some of my own. Here is my take on the Spirit Movie version: I originally designated the head to be for a Serpentor custom. But the color and shape were more like a native-american. So I used the Triple H hair, and adjust it to the head. I also shorten the forearms. I don't like the way they look; long and skinny. I may do the same for my other 'Reactive Armor' figures. Added some axes, and ....DONE!!! I may add some other weapons or items later on, but I am very pleased with the results so far. What do you think? Thanks for watching!
