Richard Wenk To Re-Write Masters Of The Universe Movie

Variety reports that scribe Richard Wenk ("The Equalizer, The Mechanic and co-wrote Expendables 2"), has been hired to rewrite the upcoming Masters of the Universe live-action movie from Sony Pictures and Escape Artists. Alex Litvak and Mike Finch wrote the original script which was titled "Grayskull." The story focuses on a young prince who sets out to defeat the evil Skeletor and fulfill his destiny as He-Man. The movie will be produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch.
