I'm sorry .. but I have to say it (take my money now) ?
Ninja Turtles are not an area I focus on in my collection. However, as a toy collector, I think this is very good news for those who love it.
In 2013, Playmates remained faithful to the 1988 series and introduced figures of that period to the market. This was a nice project.
I think it would be more accurate to call this new series a remake. Because there are many differences between the figures released in 1988. Especially the crocodile texture on it and the joints, accessory and box design are completely different.
In general, my favorite part is building a roof piece by piece. This is very well thought out. The number of joints has increased and posing opportunities have become available. I think the box design will look better when displayed. However, it would definitely be much better without this weird texture on it.

Yeah I say the same, how many sets of Turtles is enough? but I can't really stop myself from loving having Turtles sets, I try really hard to say no to most of them being there is soooo many, but for the price on these and the dio, seems like a sure bet I will buy these, and yes it's hard to overlook the golfball texture of these turtles and still has me asking the question of why? but I'll just bite it.

Those look a bit better than I was thinking. I dunno if I can drop the dough right now though
So this "Remaster" figures ended up making the same mistake than a Remaster in any other media, from Videogames to movies (Star Wars comes to my mind) by looking to "improve" things they switch a detail which was perfect in the original release and ruining the final product.

also I see they still didn't fix the head swap with donnie and Leo
I like street accessories part... Kind of army build that to add them to my shelves as a background for the turtles...?????
still not blown away with the odd skin textures but I am liking the over all feel of these specially that rooftop accessory
