A Special Optimus Prime Toy For Toys For Tots - Please Help Spread The Word

If you haven't already heard, we at ENI are working with a local Comic Book chain in the Washington, DC metropolitan area to raffle off a very special Transformers Optimus Prime collectible that has been autographed by Peter Cullen himself. All the proceeds from this auction will be donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

We have already collected several hundred dollars in ticket sales for this cool collectible, but we would really love to see that become several thousand by the time the raffle ends on December 18. We need the help of all our readers to make that happen.

We are asking all our readers to help spread the word about this raffle. Entertainment News International LLC (ENI) has teamed up with Beyond Comics, a local comic book chain in the Washington D.C. metro area, to raffle off a very special Transformers Optimus Prime Hybrid Style THS-02 Convoy from Takara in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Available until December 18, you can purchase raffle tickets for $1 each at Beyond Comics locations in Gaithersburg, MD and Frederick, MD. The winning ticket will be drawn on December 18 (You do not have to be present to win). Why is this toy so special? It has been autographed by Peter Cullen, the man who voiced Optimus Prime in the original 80's Transformers cartoon and in the more recent blockbuster live-action movies.

“Finding a present under the tree Christmas morning is an experience every child should have an opportunity to experience”, says Entertainment News International president Jay Cochran. “Superheroes bring hope. We want to be a part of putting hope in the eyes of children in our community.” Beyond Comics also will have toy collecting boxes on hand at both locations, so you can drop off an unwrapped new toy for Toys For Tots.
