Toy Hunters - What Do You Think?!?

A pilot for a potential new show called "Toy Hunters" which focuses on the world of toy collecting debuted last Sunday on the Travel Channel. The show focuses on Jordan Hembrough, a toy collector/e-tailer who goes around the country hunting for rare toys. In the first episode he comes across a one of a kind prototype from the original ThunderCats line as well as an elusive rocket-firing Boba Fett figure from Kenner's Star Wars line.

Now if you didn't catch the show last Sunday (which is not surprising since the show was not well advertised), worry not because you can catch clips of it over on the Travel Channel's website by CLICKING HERE!

As we mentioned above, this first episode was simply a pilot episode, which means the network aired it to try and gauge if there is enough interest in the show to warrant a full-fledged "Toy Hunters" series. So if you watched the show last Sunday or if you go over to the Travel Channel and watch the video clips, we HIGHLY recommend you go over to the Travel Channel's FACEBOOK page and let them know what you thought of the show. You can also write them directly on the Travel Channel website if you don't have a Facebook account.

We are told if the show does receive a green light we can expect coming episodes to focus on things like Super Powers, Masters of the Universe, Barbie, Hot Wheels and more. So again go check out the show if you haven't already and then let the folks at Travel Channel know what you think about it.

I would rather watch ComicBookmen... that show was alot more entertaining, even though they hardly had any "items" to talk about

It reminds me of Pawn stars but I still like it

yeah, it was like Pawn Stars, except the guys working there weren't complete D-Bags. I can't stand Pawn Stars anymore, I hate Rick with a passion. And the other two are just stupid.

At least the guys on Comicbookmen were funny and entertaining.. but they will definitely need to add more substance if they want the show to continue

I think Cory is a D-bag because of his thoughts on people who like Star Wars or collect but I like rick and Chumlee is a trip to watch

how could anybody like Rick? He would run over his own grandma to make a buck

I know people just like him in real life and Rick isn't that bad A few times when people were asking lower for items he let them know he could pay more.If he didn't do that I would agree with you about throwing his grandmother under a bus to make a profit .

Wasn't there some talk awhile back about Kevin Smith doing a show like Pawn Stars that focuses on comics, toys, and collectibles? Is it still in the works?

That show is likely going to focus much more on comics than toys though.
