Bust Yields 120,000 Counterfeit Superhero Action Figures

NBC Channel 5 in Chicago are reporting with the source of the Associated Press that Police in Los Angeles have seized thousands of tiny superheroes.

Officials said they seized 120,000 counterfeit Superman, Batman and Spider-Man action figures at a downtown Los Angeles warehouse over the weekend.

The stash of fake action figures was valued at about $500,000, according to police.

A female suspect was arrested after they discovered the miniature comic book heroes in a downtown warehouse.
