We Are Hiring!

We are looking to bring on a number of freelance news reporters to join our team. We are looking for people who are interested in helping us cover the ever growing world of action figure and pop culture related news on our websites ToyNewsi.com, MarvelousNews.com, JediInsider.com and TFormers.com.

The optimum candidates will have a passion for action figures, movies, comics and/or video games. You don’t need to be an expert in every action figure out their or these other categories like movies, but the more knowledge and passion you have for these things the better.

You also must be 18 years or older to apply.

Having flexibility in one’s schedule to be able to post news on our sites will also be important. Breaking news can happen at any time of the day, 7 days a week. We realize this is only going to be a part-time gig for most of you, and while their will be some monetary compensation offered for the time given to these positions we are looking to fill, we know most people will likely have some kind of full time job, school or other obligations that will take precedence in their day.

You must also have access to your own computer and internet. The job can technically be performed using mobile devices like a smartphone or iPad with internet, but having access to an actual computer when doing this job is going to be more beneficial.

You need basic writing skills and some minor knowledge in html is helpful.

Having access and knowledge to use basic photo editing software like photoshop is also beneficial.

You must be able to take direction from others.
