I bought the one that came out several years ago. It looks great and isn't metal. You can still find these on E-Bay. It's identical to the metal version. What difference does it make once it's in a display case anyway? It's an expensive rehash from DC Direct. I'm waiting for a Phantom Zone Projector. If DC Direct is going to rehash stuff, go back to the Flash Ring. It's on my want list and I can't find it anywhere.
Who in there right mind is going to spend that kind of money on that?
No kidding! This would be right up there after winning the lottery or something. And there has to be some way to amp up the juice, too - make it need more than 3 AAAs, enough to light a decent-sized room. Like a bunch of the MR lightsabers put together.
Man, I wish I could afford this! maybe I will save up.
