Today during a presentation at the TW's investor day event, Phil Kent, chairman and CEO of Time Warner's Turner networks unit revealed that a new Green Lantern animated series was in the works to debut on Cartoon Network. A slide was shown with the title "Green Lantern: The Animated Series." The series is expected premiere in the second year after the Green Lantern movie is released, which hits theaters on June 17, 2011 release.
