BigBadToyStore.com has several new DC Comic 4" Multiverse figures listed for pre-order. They include the following:
- Batman '66 (Arkham Origins)
- Batman Beyond (Arkham City)
- Deathstroke (Arkham Origins)
Batman '66 and Batman Beyond are listed under the Arkham games heading and are based on the special custom skins that were made available in those games for these characters. No new pictures have been released at this time for these figures.
UPDATE: We did get a look some new Multiverse figures this past summer at SDCC including this
one. Though the figure at SDCC looks more like the 70's Batman based on Neal Adams work, I could see them still labeling it the 66 Batman which has more name recognition with non-comic book fans and shares a similar color scheme for the suit. The biggest thing that would likely differentiate the 66 Batman from the 70's Batman in a figure this size is the Bat Utility Belt and shape of the Bat symbol on his chest. I suppose the 66 Batman could also have bigger sized trunks if Mattel wanted to get that detailed. Ron lets us know that there was a custom 70's Batman skin released for the Arkham City game, so even though the Multiverse line doesn't really do figures based on comics, they could slip a comic version in that way along with a 66 TV Batman if they wanted. Time will tell, hopefully Mattel will release images soon to go along with these new listings so we know for sure.
BBTS also lists some new 4" Basic Batman man figures for pre-order which I believe refers to Mattel's kid-friendly Batman line such as the figures seen
here.
