Well DCC does have some action figures coming out in 2020, just not in September. The shift from action figure to statues though is one I think that has been gradually occurring more and more over the course of the last several years. I am sure there have been a number of factors at play for that and I think you've seen the same thing with other companies like Diamond Select Toys as well.

no figures C Mon dc collectibles

What has been said before, it does not seem feasible for two companies to make figures with similar characteristics. Honestly seeing the general reaction, McFarlane's figures will not be perfect, of course not, but those of DCC, if any, will no longer have a chance, unless they change from 7 to 6 inches, only then .

They may have slowed down on the action figures to give the McFarlane figures a chance. I remember an interview with Todd and someone else who I believe was from DC Collectibles and they said that they didn't want to step on anybody's toes.

Great looking statues but as said above its really depressing to see DCC slow down on making figures.

Darth_Primus - 2020-01-17 @ 7:46 pm

That would be kind of disappointing if DCC didn't continue to make figures because of the McFarlane license. If that's the case, I suppose the DCeased line would be the final figures for Essentials, perhaps DCC. But it would make sense as Todd said in the interview with Jay C that Spin Master got the main stream toy line from DC and he got the collectors' portion of the license from DC.

Well, apparently what many expected was going to happen with DCC after McFarlane took over the license, and this is that it would become in a maker of statues mainly.
