Based on Richard Donner’s Academy Award nominated film “Superman”, the Man of Steel joins the One:12 Collective.

The One:12 Collective Superman – 1978 Edition is outfitted in his iconic suit from the film, which proudly displays the ‘House of El’ family crest and features a cape with an integrated posing wire. Two head portraits are included depicting Christopher Reeves portrayal of Superman. The Last Son of Krypton comes complete with a Fortress of Solitude base that features a light-up function which can be activated by specific placement of the included Kryptonian crystals, or via an on/off switch.

The face is not so bad as it is wrong. I don't recall him ever smiling quite like that, but apparently he did as they must be pulling it from somewhere in the movie material. There were certainly much better options for facial expressions than this one, for sure.

I am glad that they updated their website to feature the yellow S on the back of the cape.

Now if they would just update it to fix that ugly $#@%ing grin, I might even try to buy the thing.

Where's the yellow S that's supposed to be on the back of the cape??

Its missing, hopefully the figure will get some tweeking before the final release. I noticed it is still available which is nice to see even though when the site was first getting hammered with traffic it was very difficult to place an order.

This figure is good. But pricey, but that creepy smile OMG. Horrible choice. I'm gonna get a custom OldBoy head as soon as possible. Will take the figure to a whole new level.

They could have thrown in a angry look or one with red eyes. Anything would be better than that creepy ass smile.

Great companion piece for Keaton Bats.

I think they were at least partially trying to respond to lower-key complaints about the lack of a smiling head with a number of their releases that would have made sense to have one (comics Superman, both comics Wonder Women, comics Aquaman, etc.), but they're just... not great at sculpting genuine smiles. There's something about the expression they're not capturing.

Ehhhh...something's not right. And the "smiling" face is terrifying.
