Devil's Due Publishing would like to announce that due to the sell-out success of the first two printings of Master and Apprentice #1, a 3rd printing is currently in production. The new cover will feature the famous "Arashikage" symbol - the trademark brand of the G.I.Joe comic's most notorious ninja clan.
Based upon the success of this miniseries, Devil's Due already has plans for a sequel, focusing on Storm Shadow, one of the most popular characters in G.I.Joe lore. Creative teams are still being assigned, but it is very likely that scribe Brandon Jerwa will return to the series.
G.I.Joe: Master and Apprentice debuted in May of 2004, and chronicles the origin of SNAKE-EYES' apprentice, KAMAKURA. Issue #1 sold out immediately, followed by a sell-out second printing. Originally slated as a 3-part miniseries, fan response allowed for an extension to 4 issues.
Master and Apprentice #3 is currently at the printers, while copies of issue #2 are still available.
