Available soon from First 4 Figures is the Ninja Gaiden II Ryu Hayabusa 1/4 Scale Statue. First 4 Figures has recently announced they have been awarded the license from Microsoft and TECMO/Team Ninja to create high-end 1/4 scale statue based on characters from the "Ninja Gaiden II" video game for Xbox 360. The first piece in this exciting new line is the video game's super Ninja warrior, Ryu Hayabusa. Hayabusa, in his default black costume, is mounted on a base covered in artificial grass. He also comes with his signature weapons: the Dragon Sword, the Eclipse Scythe, and a Falcon's Talon. He stands 18 inches tall but when you include his Eclipse Scythe, he stands at a whopping 31 inches tall. Strictly limited to 1,999 pieces worldwide, this spectacular work of art comes packaged in a deluxe, full-color box and comes with a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Also available soon from Yamato is the PLA-Wrestler Sanshiro: Creator's Labo #17 Sakurahime 1:1 Scale Polystone Figure. This piece is a great tribute to 1980's anime and manga hit "PLA-Wrestler Sanshiro." It was created by legendary kit sculptor Toy Fujiura, who has sculpted several garage-kit Sakurahime figures. And remember, the reason this is 1:1 scale is because we're talking about a pocket-sized robot. Sakurahime is fully painted and ready for display on her own base.
