Doom 3 ships for XBox this week, available early in select areas.

If you can't wait to get your hands on DOOM 3 for the Xbox, Game Rush@BLOCKBUSTER stores nationwide will be opening their doors for eager fans at midnight on Monday, April 4. A bunch of the guys from here at id will be heading out to the Dallas store at 6437 Hillcrest Ave. near the SMU campus to sign copies, give away DOOM 3 merchandise and chat with fans. Game Rush is also offering 30 percent off the DOOM 3 Xbox official strategy guide and 20 percent off any Xbox accessory with the purchase or rental of DOOM 3. The game officially goes on sale at all retailers Monday, April 4.

DOOM 3 for the Xbox features the Xbox Live exclusive 2-player co-op campaign, and the Limited Collector's Edition also includes complete versions of Ultimate DOOM and DOOM II with full single-player as well as 2-4 player spilt-screen co-op and deathmatch on one Xbox.
