Nippon Ichi announces Disgaea 2 for 2006 for the PS2.
The story takes place 3 years after the original, has a different cast of characters (Etna and the exploding Prinnies do return), and is about 17-year-old Adel trying to fight off a curse that has struck her land because of the dark lord Xenon.
The game will feature the same strategy-based battle system and attacks as the first one did. More details will be revealed once 2006 comes around
