The UK company Eaglemoss who is probably best known for their Star Trek die-cast model ships line through their Hero Collector brand on Friday, August 5th declared Administration in the UK. Administration is similar to when a company in the US declares Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. While there have been no official announcement about this put out by Eaglemoss, this was confirmed by Ben Robinson who was the Director of Licensed Products for the company.
For those who are fans of their Star Trek line there however may be hope. While nothing is definitive, Ben has suggested other companies have expressed interest in possibly taking over the line including which might include finishing an Enterprise D Build-A-Program that would be left incomplete if someone else doesn't step in.

Whoa this is crazy! And right before they released the Serenity! I sense a conspiracy. :D

I was literally on their website about 4 days before the news broke trying to order all the Inquiry based variants from Picard. I think I literally got distracted by a phone call and forgot about it. Lucky break.
