Mer-Man goes on sale in a week and if anyone needs me to order one for them because they won't have access to the internet let me know. I don't mind ordering it but I'll need to be reimbursed for the figure and then the shipping costs once I receive him.
I wouldn't buy it if they had given him a modern head :S
That bio makes that lamer Zodac sound awesome. I would have preferred a 200x version, since he didn't look like a fat hairy guy in a funny hat. But I'll still give Mattel $30 to ship that figure to me.
I used my zodak as a good guy no doubt
I've never liked that whole "balance of good and evil" concept-- it just seems like a bad understanding of the yin and yang. Philosophically, evil is imbalance. Even in Zoroastrianism, where Good and Evil are roughly equal, Good is still destined to win out in the end through Wisdom and Teamwork (Hey, sounds like a Filmation cartoon! @loll@ ). I prefer the reasoning used by cosmic characters in the superhero comics where IMO they're still outsiders who don't think they have the right to interfer. Too switch supporting sides is the exact opposite of what Uatu or even the Filmation Zodac would do-- rather than being evolved or cosmic, it sounds to me like something European powers would do in the Age of Imperialism! Rest assured, after Lord Skeletor has taken the Power Sword from Adam's smoking corpse, seized Grayskull, and placed the Sorceress in his menagerie, a certain Cosmic Enforcer will be next on his list. @firedevil@ Anybody going to get Zodac just to make him evil?
However, Squiddish Rex is no shortage of Awesome, even if he is the "Waspinator" of the MOTUverse.
Mer-man looks awesome. I can't wait for him. I really glad they gave him the extra head too.
Both will be mine!
ARGH! I WANT 'EM! I WANT 'EM NOW!!!! @yipee@
But I must be patient and wait...
I really like the Zodac bio. I was already looking forward to him, but now I especially am. That bio just makes him more interesting to me. And they can call him neutral if they want, but he's a good guy to me. He may not help all the time, but he's not going to let Skeletor take over Eternia if push comes to shove.
Mer-Man can't come soon enough. His fishy armies will lay waist (and likely eggs) to all of Randor's lands.
