Sideshow Showcases Marvel 'Sabertooth Vs. Wolverine Diorama

February 24, 2005
Sideshow Collectibles, in
conjunction with the Marvel Comics Group, announces the production of a brand new line of high-end collectible statues based upon some of the most memorable battles ever written in Marvel Comics.

Wolverine
- aka Logan – A mutant who was the by-product of a secret government “Weapon X” experiments gone horrible awry. A super-dense metal alloy called Adamantium is injected into his system, instantly bonding to his skeletal frame giving him unbreakable metal-plated bones and unknowingly reshapes his animalistic-like claws into razor sharp blades able to slice through solid steel with ease.

Sabertooth aka Victor Creed – A 6’ 6”, 275 pound cold-hearted, sadistic killer with his own rapid healing mutant abilities, super-human strength, sharpened sense and even sharper claws, and a complicated past intricately connected with Wolverine’s.

These two have fought a never-ending battle against one another with no decisive victor. Together they will launch Sideshow Collectibles’ Marvel Diorama “VS” series, a line of highly detailed and thrilling, high-end collectible statues pairing combatants from some of the most memorable and famous battles ever illustrated in Marvel Comics history.

Sculpted
by Martin Canale of Argentina’s Gore Group, these amazing statues are made of solid polystone, featuring incredible amounts of character and authentic detailing with a hand-painted touch and a snowy platform display base that captures the conflicts as only Marvel can write them, and Sideshow Collectibles can produce them.

There will be 2 versions of this item – a regular version, and an ultra limited version of 300 pieces sold exclusively at www.sideshowcollectibles.com.
