I really like the approach Bandai is taking with this simpler 6" figures. Definitely an option for those moderately interested in a property but not willing to go and invest huge amounts of money in order to get their favorite characters. Like, I liked this series as a child, can't say I'm super into it, but it would be interesting to get a couple of these, like Seiya, a Shiryu, maybe Doko.

Just wondering if these are based on the original or the new show. The original is an all time favorite of mine. The new one just sucks.
