NECA has released an image of the ad slick going out to retailers this week for their upcoming 7" Scale ED-209 Robocop figure which provided some more details about the figure.
It will be 10" tall and will be in movie-accurate scale with the 7" Robocop figure they previously released. The figure will have an articulated head, legs that slide up and down, hinged arm wing panels, poseable cannon arms and pop-out rocket launcher on the right arm. The figure will also include movie authentic electronic sound effects and dialogue. Press a button to hear the hydraulic machinery sounds, the guttural metal growls, "Warning, throw down your weapon, you have 15 seconds to comply" and more. The figure will come in deluxe closed boxed packaging featuring original illustrations and product photography highlighting key action features.
The ad slick also indicates this figure will only have one production run and no re-orders.
As for price, this is something that can vary from retailer to retailer, but from what we have gathered, you can probably expect it to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $60-$70. Retailers should start taking pre-orders for this in the next week or so, at which point we will have a better idea on the cost.
