Man that is a badass weapon.

I always loved Gargoyles as a serious. And this just makes me so happy. They even kept Broadway's gut! That's a good touch that they modeled him after the Strongest men (who are pretty hefty dudes) its a realistic twist for the Gargoyle with a healthy appetite.

The time of the Gargoyles has come again! Many would say the Gargoyles animated series is the best gothic cartoon of the 1990s. Gargoyles followed an ancient clan of gargoyles transported to modern-day Manhattan when their Scottish castle is relocated. One of the rookery trio (alongside Brooklyn and Lexington), Broadway is many things: optimist, food enthusiast, and cinephile. This Ultimate Broadway figure is fully articulated, and comes with interchangeable heads, interchangeable hands, axe and mace that combine into a larger weapon, meat, popcorn, and more.

Comes in display-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap. You can pre-order this from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

It doesn't bother me a lot, but considering these four have more cartoon accurate faces than either Goliath and Demona, I'd like to see their body shapes match what was on screen, too.

These arent toon renditions tho. They are the characters depicted mostly realistically. They never had pulsing veins and muscle striations or abs or even seeing individual hair and you never really saw nails or wing skin or holes in their wings or really any texture at all. It was a 2d cartoon, these are their renditions that are more tangible in reality. So pointy chests dont work.

Yeah but squared-off "pointy chests" are every bit as realistic as the man-boob look. Just look up photos of some of the famous bodybuilders from the 1940s, 1950s, and early 1960s and you'll see what I mean: Steve Reeves, Clancy Ross, Reg Park, Jim Haislop, Larry Scott, etc. They all had that look because they did neck presses back then instead of the modern bench press, and comics and animation have been mimicking their body types ever since. Since both body types exist in the real world, I'd like to see the Gargoyle figures have the type that was in the source material.

Line is coming up pretty nicely, but I'm likely gonna pick up Demona and Goliath only.

Man these are all amazing, I'm still holding up we might actually get these figures in Canada at some point, I'd really like to get em all.

These all look fantastic. It continues to bother me, though, that the Gargoyles keep being sculpted with that rounded man-boob look, when the cartoon always depicted them with that flat-bottom, squared-off chest look. It'd be nice if NECA was a little more faithful to the original character designs. Other than that, though, they look great, especially the heads.
