I too find something about E.T.'s design a bit creepy in retrospect. Also, those scenes where he becomes phyically sick ? However, still love the movie I gotta admit. It's gen x's bambi.

The only take away here is that creepy ole E.T. is 42 years old, Ew, that makes me feel so old, I still can't stand that alien, when I was a kid I stopped eating Reese's pieces because I was afraid it would attract E.T. and I didn't want that thing around, he might be all friendly and stuff but he's a creep, I don't trust that guy, given the opportunity I'd only imagine he'd be doing things that would be unwanted, no wonder there was never a sequel I bet it would have been a horror film, he'd come back to do some creepy eepy business.
