“I wasn’t hired for my disposition.” So said the T-shirt favored by legendary Steelers linebacker Greg Lloyd and that spirit is emulated today by the relentless James Harrison. The Steelers 3-4 defense is predicated on an anchor nose tackle and outside linebackers that can get to the quarterback and run down the running backs. Harrison is an equal terror to opposing quarterbacks and running backs, and even lays the lumber in pass defense. Harrison wore this retro jersey in an October divisional showdown with the Cleveland Browns – his defensive stat line for day: eleven tackles, two sacks, one pass defended, one forced fumble and two Cleveland receivers knocked out of the game. Following the game, Harrison summed up his day at the office: "You don't want to injure people. I don't want to injure anybody. But I'm not opposed to hurting anybody."
