McFarlane Toys Assassin's Creed IV Hidden Blade & Gauntlet

From the latest chapter of one of the biggest, most popular video game franchises ever, comes the Pirate Hidden Blade and Gauntlet with bonus Skull Buckle!

This life-size, role-playing accessory lets fans wear the signature weapon of the heroic assassin. McFarlane Toys' all-new version of the Hidden Blade is based on the one worn by the charismatic hero, Edward Kenway in the upcoming blockbuster video game, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. In combat, the brash and rebellious pirate, Edward, draws from the traditional assassin playbook with dual hidden blades, and now fans of the game can, too.

The Hidden Blade and Gauntlet features a spring-loaded, retractable plastic blade, with a switchblade-style play action, just as seen in the Assassin's Creed video game series. The intricately sculpted Blade section attaches to the bottom of the forearm with adjustable straps and the highly detailed simulated leather Gauntlet attaches to the top of the forearm with the strap and buckle. The life-size role- playing Blade and Gauntlet is 16.5 inches fully extended. Features include a blade release trigger and a blade safety lock.

The bonus Skull Buckle is an exact replica of the one worn by pirate-turned- assassin Edward Kenway in the game. The Skull Buckle can be worn in a variety of creative ways -- on shirts, hats, backpacks, messenger bags, and belts - by clipping it onto an item.

McFarlane Toys' Pirate Hidden Blade and Gauntlet is available for pre-order now at Gamestop.com and will retail for $39.99 each. The Pirate Hidden Blade and Gauntlet is slated to ship Fall 2013.
