The 2013 Boston Red Sox Championship 2 Pack

After a disappointing 2012 season, the Red Sox retooled in 2013, and with the help of a new manager and some key veteran additions, the team stormed into the playoffs and won their third World Series in ten years. Boston was most certainly strong in the 2013 playoffs, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays in 4 games, and the Detroit Tigers in 6 games. At this year’s World Series the Sox took on a fellow baseball powerhouse in the St. Louis Cardinals. After a back and forth series, the Red Sox were able to pull off the series victory in Game 6 at Fenway Park. It was the first time in 95 years that a World Series had been clinched at Fenway Park.
