This is a huge week for McFarlane. A massive wave on the 18th. A podcast on the 18th. And then the Batman Returns wave on the 19th.

I'm actually kind of shocked so much is going up this week, back to back like this.

I like the Catwoman and Shreck figures, but I'm not sure I should buy them. Would I really display them? And they don't go with anything else (they look too realistic to pose with the comic figures I have out).

OMG I need that Catwoman!, Ugh which I have a strong feeling isn't going to be a real easy thing for me to get.

fun story, so back when the Batman returns movie came out, and kenner was making those toys..you know, the only thing I wanted was the Catwoman figure, I remember when those toys came out, after seeing the movie multiple times, i was just obssessed with it, and Catwoman, only thing I cared about was a damn Catwoman, which I saw pictures of only, I needed that figure, well turns out it was impossible to find in Canada, the christmas of that year I got a bunch of Batman returns figures, non of which were Catwoman and I freaked out, I didn't want those other figures, ew, I moaned for months about a Catwoman, my mom went to stores far and wide, asking where she could get a Catwoman, no luck, finally finally, to shut me up once and for all, got a Catwoman from some seedy seller, it took a long time to come, I waited, and waited (probably not with patience), and finally I got her, I was ecstatic to finally have Catwoman, and I for an entire year carried that figure in my pocket, everywhere, Oh You wanna see Catwoman..yeah I showed everyone, nobody really cared, but she was like my comfort figure, and fast forward to now, she still is displayed in her own special place in my collection, the old Catwoman figure, all loose and wiggley, still in very good condition despite the joints, gosh I loved that figure.

Now I need this one!

Returns Batman looks great, aside from that Torso cut. Ball wrists look well hidden.Catwoman looks generally very good, but I do wish the wrists were hidden better like Batman's. Maybe it's just that I haven't bought a McFarlane DC figure in a while, but they seem a little extra awkward.Shreck also looks generally very good, but I am not happy about that Red Platinum s***.Penguin...well, I struggle to see any Devito in that portrait. Also, there are five fingers on that five fingers on that left hand.?For a "deluxe" figure, someone should have paid better attention. I wonder how many fingers the Duck Tank version is gonna have: Six, ten, or both?

I pretty much expected this, only the torso has been changed, but finally they colored the edges of the logo and finally did the head and neck properly, they are all together as all movie Batmans should have been, and finally he got a wire cape (So all in all, I think they turned out pretty good.) (Although Penguin's coat is a little weird, it's still OK.)

Just give me the Duck Tank!

I'm honestly kinda kicking myself for getting that Batman 89 Keaton Bats a few months ago, because this Returns version looks better in so many ways, I wish I just held out for this one

I talk alot of smack about Uncle Todd, but I give him credit where credits due. These Batman Returns figured are definately where credit is due.

Mondo, there's no need to tease, just start cranking these guys out! It's a weird feeling being nostalgic for the 200x stuff, but I like it. My wallet is a total hater, but I've taped it shut so it can't complain until the pre-order comes up.
