McFarlane Toys 2002 SDCC Exclusive Unveiled

Spawn.com reports that Todd McFarlane Productions and McFarlane Toys are teaming up for a huge presence at San Diego Comic-Con International 2002.

We'll have a large separate booth next door to the Image Central area. A vast contingent of McFarlane staffers -- including several Board moderators, head sculptor Jean St. Jean, Steve Hamady, Al Simmons and the Big Guy himself - will be making the trip.

This year, McFarlane Toys is offering an exclusive action figure to San Diego Comic-Con attendees. And the figure is ... an extremely limited-edition pewter-wash version of Spawn the Bloodaxe from Series 22 with a variant head. This figure will be sold only at the Con until they're gone for $10 each. We are initially going to place a limit of three figures per customer to assure everyone attending has an opportunity to get one. That limit may change as necessary.

The Con runs from Wednesday, July 31 (Preview Night) to Sunday, Aug. 4.
