SUPER BOWL EXCLUSIVE FIGURE PHOTOS REVEALED
David Carr, Eddie George For Sale at Houston Event
Spawn.com will once again be in attendance at the Super Bowl festivities.
In 2004, Super Bowl XXXVIII will be in Houston. Like last year, McFarlane Toys will be at the Topps Super Bowl XXXVIII Card Show at the NFL Experience at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston -- booth numbers 41 and 55 -- from Thursday Jan. 29 to Sunday Feb. 1, 2004. Hours are: Thursday 1/29, 3 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Friday 1/30, 3 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Saturday 1/31, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.; and Sunday 2/1, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. The NFL Experience is an interactive theme park offering games, displays and entertainment attractions. There will also be many NFL players signing autographs.
McFarlane Toys will again be selling exclusive action figures, which have become a major draw for fans attending the Card Show. The figures are:
- David Carr, Houston Texans QB, No. 8
- Eddie George, Houston Oilers RB, No. 27
George will be in the powder blue retro Oilers uniform; Carr will be in a special Texans red third jersey. Production has been set at 5,000 pieces of each figure and per-person purchase limits will be in effect as usual. Prices will be $15 per figure or $25 for the set of two figures (Carr and George).
Though it's not football, they will also offer a limited number of Yao Ming NBA action figures for our Houston fans. This will be the same figure offered at retail in NBA Series 5 for those that missed it.
