From a marketing perspective, "Unarticulated" has a negative read due to the 'un' prefix - consciously or not, reading that makes the consumer think it's missing something. 'Posed' hides the fact that this is all it does, but I'd argue that's a tad misleading as it's hinging on the lack of 'action' to indicate that this has no articulation at all. Every figure is 'posed' when you get it, regardless of it's capable of *other* poses as well...
