Precisely, that feel of absurdity, same feel Fortnite also has, is what I meant.

Ahh I got you. I feel like this new Doom since 2016 kind of goes that direction to begin with. Fortnite is just lucky enough to not have a real basis. Doom is all rip and tear, time to kick some ass. Fortnite is light hearted, has no real story or purpose but to have a party with guns so their absurdity makes more since, since its just chaos. And they make their revenue off of skins alone so the more crazy, the more it gets attention and money. Basically I feel like fortnite can basically have anything and everything as a costume and it wouldnt be like well thats weird and out of place. Doom however has a certain theme but at the same time its macho, so they are like lets have one thats hitting more the feminine side of things.

An alternate skin for the player, ok, maybe some Fornite inspiration?.

Not sure what you mean. Are you saying this costume in particular you are thinking as fortnite inspired or having alot of costumes in the game is? Im going to go ahead and say they were just going for absurdity. In a game where you go to HELL to kill demons in brutalistic morbid ways, what could get more absurd then you being in a dainty colorful unicorn suit?

I was talking to my friend about this figure, and he thought as I did this figure was a strange Idea... with so many actually cool looking suits in this game they chose this? , I mean I guess... it's kinda fortnitey and the youngins probably like it, I however really would have rather we had gotten Crimson Slayer or Demonic.. but I'm sure eventually we will get those, does any body know if McFarlane has the rights to all of the doom franchise or it's just Eternal?because I'd love to see some stuff from the early games

There was a time when people working for Todd wouldn't have shied away from painting all that silver trim there.

It actually is. Its one of the many costumes in the game. They go pretty weird honestly.

I wouldve loved this skin if I had a choice of any from the game.

How about just rereleasing the first Doom fig? And then give us the Doom Marinefrom the first reboot game. I'd rather see those than this Fortnite light stuff.
